Neil Whitehead

Neil Whitehead is a garden and landscape designer with over 15 years’ experience working closely with plants and people, including founding Seed Pantry — a business focused on making gardening more accessible. His work is grounded in a deep understanding of how gardens grow, evolve and support wellbeing over time.

With a distinction in Garden Design, Neil combines creative thinking with technical precision, working across hand-drawn concepts and CAD software — including SketchUp and Vectorworks — to develop clear, buildable designs. His approach is calm, considered and collaborative, creating spaces that feel balanced, natural and connected to their surroundings.

Each project begins with listening. The aim is simple: to design outdoor spaces that are both beautiful and genuinely usable — rooted in planting, shaped by purpose and built to last.
